Mask on the face or Scar on the Soul

A kid trapped inside the devil, trying to get out, crying. He doesn’t know how did he get to this point where there is a cut mark on his face from one eye to the other side’s cheek. Is he really trapped or is he the devil himself? He is scared but pities the devil. How did an innocent kid become a devil, or is it just a mask he put on? Could he have changed what had happened?

Tears touch his lips when he saw an old picture of himself laughing like an idiot. No care about the world, no worry about the future, just living in the moment. He looks in the mirror and sees the person he has become, a stone-cold heart that has stopped feeling, smiles are fake now. He is the devil now, strongest, bravest, fearless, tough like a mountain. But he misses the kid.

One day he closes his eyes and looks within himself. Shock to himself, he finds the kid. but fails to recognize him. He doesn’t know what is real. Eyes are getting blurry. He just sees only the devil in himself, nothing else. But Why did a scared kid become the Devil?

The Devil was the one who saved the kid from the outside Monsters. The devil was the one who hid the kid inside himself and took the scar for himself. The kid is still alive inside the devil. Is it better than him being dead?

But the kid is scared of the devil. Both are the same but different as night and day. The kid has the devil part, and the devil has the kid part. But what we want him to be, is one who will come out and greet us. He absorbed the pain and drank it, burned himself, killed himself, why? Just to save himself?

Behind the devil mask, the kid still cries, he wants us to save him. Release him from himself. He is not the devil but don’t let him be.
